You know guys, honestly- I am a Sega geek, and never played This game, Chrono Trigger. However, doing some research I see it seems like a blast!
Awesome music, just awesome!
For some reason this track makes me think of Christmas, New Year- winter. Beautiful, everything covered in snow and decorations!
It really brings celebration mood! Great work with remix, and also thumbs up to original musicians of the Chrono!

No reviews? Don't make sense! Sounds so nice and Genesisy!
I wish I knew how to make my music with Sega chip sound. What program is that? or its a midi with sega sound emulation?
I'd appreciate it if you let me know! Love that song!

good track.

@ Raubana - your speakers are loud. The music track is nice and fun tune.
I love variation! Keep it up!

Soviet Cinema? haha!

Hmm, what you reffering to is Gaidai's film from 70s- called Slujebniy Romans, (At Service Romance, or Office Romance) It's a classic film that is remembered nowadays. The music track you made have a little resemblance of the main theme song in the movie. My only wish if you would of used music instruments like in the film. The beat was modern though, but I guess that's you personal choice.

This is good to see some people from the west being more open and actually get to know something about legendary USSR films. ;)

OcularNebula responds:

Well, I'm actually from Russia, so the fact that I'm familiar with USSR films isn't too surprising. The theme in this song is my own theme, but melodically it just reminded me of the sort of music that was used in a lot of lighter soviet movies in the 70s, even though this rendition combines more modern electronic elements to make it sound better.

LOVELYYYYYYYYY!

Wowzers! I was looking for something with such feel to it! SO nice!

Niice one!

Hey, why I see not much reviews for this coll track?

I really like it. It's not too busy, and yet has good atmospheare.
It reminds me of my travel on train across country in the west. Kinda depicts the whole feel of the big , heavy train counting spikes under rails, blinding sunlight, ambient rare clouds, red rocky cliffs drawing variety of monuments, green shrubs pass by , bringing bit of life to the environment, windpowered water wells, and horse ranches pops up here and there!
Nice !
I would love to include that one in my travel video, when I get time to work on it.

Interesting

interesting piece! Though it fits more for 16-17th century age of empires.
But no way sounding like music for WW2.
If you want to resemble WW 2 music- look up some orchestra from USSR, Britain or Germany.
You would most likely to hear instruments like trumpets, arny drums, snares, harmonica, army choirs, marching. BTW- great examples would be world war 2 marches - American, German and particularly Soviet (Russian). I know- simulating army Choirs would be a great challenge, but it would be awesome!

Ever played Return to Castle of Wolfenstein? They got pretty good music that resembles the one for ww 2. I love how they pulled it off. They used Orchestra Trumpets (Brasses) pretty often, lots of millitary drums, strings, snares, little bit of piano, chanting choir (for catacombs level), Unique music tracks- for nazi laboratory- they included some sort of distant metal clanking sound.

Anyways, these are my two cents of knowledge to share! ;) I would love to see they make WW2 Age of Empires! Tanks, subs, planes, rocket launchers, armored trains, battleships, trenches, troop transporting trucks.... Would be awesome!

EagleGuard responds:

Haha, thanks for the review ;)

Keep in mind, this piece is pretty old, so that's why it may not sound top notch. At first I tried to make it sound more military than specifically WWII-like, so that may also be the reason that it isn't exactly perfect.

No, I haven't played that game, will look into it, sounds interesting enough. =p

Perhaps I'll redo this one day, to make it sound more WWII-like/realistic.

UAHAHA!

That is so awkward pieceXD))
The cat sound seems to be off, which makes it hillarious!

When I will have time I want to make cartoon- "Tunes and awkward vsuals"- in which I would take music tracks and make music video that shows whatever comes to my mind when I hear it :)

When your music track would play- I would have a sketchy looking conveyor belts, with bunch of cats being transported on it, tested for defects, assembled, crash-tested, sorted. People will piss in heir pants from laughing so hard! DX))))

Having a great interest in Game making in Flash!
