Same bug as a previous guy get.

pretty good game, but I vumped into the same bug as the previous guy did.
And exactly same thing happened to me when I charge the weapon and could not fire or move.

Also- you should of made the background with a fog so objects don't go popping up from nowhere but fade in gently onto scene.

Graphics were too repetitive (well unless you got different ones after squid, I dunno. could not go further cause of the bug.)

we had them coming on gently, but from a programming standpoint, the more objects you have with an alpha less than 100, the greater the lag, and unfortunately, that was one of the things that was scrapped.

why!?

For some reason I figured out right away, that spoon could do the short circit. Got the first (top left, bottom left and right ) tiles.
But can't get the TOP RIGHT one. I know it gotta be in the clock!
But I tried clicking or pulling anything on the clock, had no results.

I see noone else had troubles with the clock part but complained about spoon :) LOL.
(it's a story of my life- hard stuff is easy to me but easy stuff is confusing me real bad.)

The game is cool but all rooms are all boring same look, same size.
If you made a cool and creepy art backgrounds, this would be even better!

Cool effects!
Some of them reminds me of UT2k4 particle emmiters!
(BTW this is a great example of how to make fire and smoke effects in flash games and movies with minimum animation!)

Also great for blood splashes, instead of crappy handmade strokes.

PS- make ants run out in all directions!

How the hell that game get high score when it's so buggy!?
Usually happens when having lots of buddies on the portal but it would be better if people judge the real quality of the game.
BTW that music track is truly overused on NG. I hear it a 5th time!
Nice graphics, but the concept was already done somewhere many many many times.
Sorry, but It doesn't cut for me. :(

Could be better

Nice start for a game.
but the controls were unplayable completely, that I got very limited ammount of moves.
For example- I cannot shot or throw dynamyte when I jump.
The jump is way too short in timing. you should of made the dude jump up, then decelerate then start falling down. instead he jumps like he is on elevator .

The shooting range is ridicilous. I know you tried to make the shot range limited. But dude- that shot range is better for slingshot, or a bubble maker! :) (yeah you try to prevent the offscreen shooting)
you could make the bullet fly slower so we could see it fly, then land.

Grenade dude is kind of buggy too. the danger spot is only where bomb fall. but when it flyes it doesn't hurt you. instead make it possible to throw dynamyte when jumping so you ccan kill grenade dude.

Also make the levels have elevations, more platforms, not a conveyir belt.

But nice animations. Good start.

Fun game, but controlls were terrible!
you should of made the ball a little easyer to control.
good variety of levels.
I like the bomb thing and the powerups.

After playing modern games Like Unreal, Serious Sam, an dthis and that, start to feel like I miss those old grandpa game!
It was nice the way you did the graphics.
Like the dude said before me- the bug when player get stuck inside the platform.
The level with bunch of blocks in checker pattern got realy ennoying.
One main complaint- when my dude dies, I have to wait forever when he run across the screen.
The music was nice , but in some places was a little repetitive.
But nice oldschool game!

NIce game!

I was trying couple times to come up with a farely good 3D looking engine to make a 3D like game, but neer had anything small enough for web.
I forgot all about shifting planes.. you shown a good and easy example of 3D immitation. Thanks on that!. And good job on fun game.
Tood bad that all levels are the same looking. -
Why not make one at night, another one in the snowfall, another in the sunset! Also surrounding things beside trees!
that would be great! If you came up with such a game, it shouldn't be hard to make those additions.

Hope you make em in new version or so!

PS- realy liked the part where player flies into snowman or tree.
could add some more things though.

It was OK

I played it all through.
One thing is- that all the levels are all based on platform/wall thing.
you should of added some slanted planes where you can slide off.

Also, it was a bit hard to hit enemies, so i just jumped around them.
Particularly all those dudes don't make any threat to player.
But nice platform angine.

Having a great interest in Game making in Flash!
