Very versatile game! What makes it great is that it does not constrain you to particular duty- you free to decide which way to go, and what to do, or switch from one task to another. And especially your settlement friends actually doing work as well. I managed to find hidden cemetery where I got pumpkin seeds, jacko lantern, and killed firebreathing pig. I was wondering are jacko lanters do something or is it just a decoration that I can place on the ground just to look pretty? BTW I was kinda surprised for first survival management you did not have any mushrooms on the island. Technically you could implement various mushrooms in the game like berries - either poison, healing or cause some sort of temporary effects. It could add more possibilities for alchemist to make potions and magic. Perhaps to expand EAST, could give it options.
Also I dug up twin statue-robots (not giving away location to prevent spoilers). Can they be activated, or are its not implemented yet?
I found it super funny that somehow I manage to get milk from PIGS?? LOL! That's new!
Another portal that brings me to yellow stoneman cave, where they gang up on you. What is creepy is it changes every time you enter it!
For now I did not figure out what uranium and titanium materials could be used for. Perhaps there is technology that I did not find yet?
Suggestions -
-as above- add mushrooms to scavenging and alchemist abilities.
-more foods- watermelons?
-weather and time shall change. I loved the rain in the beginning, but that was it. Wish seasons change, affecting particular functions in the settlement. Maybe add winter, where snow makes you skid and walk slower.
-time of the day change- where day is normal, while at night it gets a bit dangerous, or some other wild animals come out which you could hunt. Extra dangers appear.
- settlement island need more space East before the mountain, since forest area end up to be very short when you research all 4 farms. I wish there would be wider field.
- the light torch is nearly useless. Perhaps you could make it needed when reaching deeper underground, where tourch light, and the later - oil lamp and then electric light come into research, making it longer lasting light while you mine deeper underground.
-deeper underground - making it harder to mine, with more dangers. Instead of limiting the underground with indestructible purple blocks, you could make mantel layer, where you cannot pass through lava.
-random ground fill-ups. As you progress in game- too many tunnels and holes appear in ground. Could be cool if they get filled up with lava or collapses.
-ability to enter under water? might be fun + technologies to survive longer under water.
Those are emidiate things that came to mind as I played. I'm aware the game has capability of being constantly expanded, so I am sure you can make use of those features!
Loved the effect when you meet characters during the play. I wish you tend to meet more new characters and have conversations. Loved the additional helpers/animals that follow you around and attack enemy. Wonder if rat does anything, or it juts runs around?
Great music, loved all of it. The dragon fight was very pumping and vicious. I really hope you implement season change - summer/ fall/ winter/ spring- where winter you occasionally get snow, summer- get rains and sun periodically. And music could change based on season.
Keep up the awesome project! Would love to see it expand with more awesome stuff!
Cheers!

Weather and time of day changes have been planned for a while - we're just hammering out the details of the changes in game (harder enemies at night, etc). Underwater has also been planned for a while, but that will probably come later. You can also fill in holes with the shovel. More items and foods are definitely on their way as well :P .

I'm glad you're enjoying the game, and we will be doing many more updates to the game with a lot of new cool features. I hope you're looking forward to the updates!

Hey, Don't listen to those who say "this game is crap". Obviously these guys never lived when these kind of games were around, so they don't know what it suppose to be.

I like the idea and oldy graphics. However I couldn't even get through the first level - keep hitting the blue icicle above the key. You should of made the first level easier to pass. Otherwise the game is hard to beat from start - and player gets aggravated too soon, and stops playing. See my point.

So I think you should try again at those old time style games, but keep in mind - make it easy in the beginning - so the player would get a chance to get into the game and start liking it.

P.S. - 2 lives?? shouldn't it be 3 by default?

Great game with classy feel! Feels as if I played the game cartridge on Snes or Sega!
Beat the game. Some stuff was pretty freaky, especially the end monster.
Good story- not overly twisted.
The spitting enemies were annoying, especially at first time.
If I ever get extra time, I want to make some game like that too.
Good game!
P.S. Sometimes I felt like I am getting lost in the levels, and missed something. interesting, multi-directional layout.

Got potential..

Not that bad as some people said. I know when you say- "fighting game" - people expect freaking street fighters quality fighting game with crasy ass effects.

Look, this is a nice little game and you made basic game engine that works alright. And you did try making characters look close to the ones in cartoon. I know it's not easy. I like how powerups give various weapons to use. I wish they would be more variety and different effect.
Also- ingame Peter looks okay, but Chicken looks like was drawn in more rushed way. If you ever get back to making new game - I would suggest make characters have longer hitpoints, so we can have longer battle.
Make more stages, maybe scrollable a bit to left and right. Various weapons have different range and attack style, speed. Add more characters, if it's not too much trouble. If not, then finetune chicken and Peter.

Make AI just for the heck of it. Make various difficulties if you know how.
Don't listen to those who just slam on your effort. They didn't even give any suggestion for you.

P.S. - make various sounds when characters get hit or hurl a hit.

Nice try, but....

Well , nice game, plenty of work went into it for sure. But...
It's just like the game Motherload. Same setup - fuel station, materials selling station , upgrades, save point. Minerals, blah blah blah. Except no physics system.

If you are inspired by the game, at least you have to say so.
Anyways, nice try, but next time if you like something, make it a bit more unique and original.

heh!

Not bad!
Pretty nice little game.
I wish you would of added pumpkins and other freaky stuff.
I don't mind game being challenging. The narrow spike areas might be a bit annouing.
BTW- you added rings right over the abys. Usually in sonic games bottomless pits doesn't have rings over it. Og wel I guess it was your intentional trap.
I like the dropping floor sections.
I fought against tails doll, but didn't win.
Overall pretty nice Sonic game recap ;)

Would be cool if you had some boiling craters in the background.

fun!

Pretty fun, fast paced shooter. Kinda reminds me of Space invader, especially the spread weapon.

The boomerang was cool, except the range was bit short for this distance. I wish you had enemies use those weapon types too.

I wish you could of had more levels to play. Like some forest and mountains.

Overall fun fast game!

pretty good game

Pretty good!
The physics art of it is awesome! However I wish there would be some levels that just let you roll as quick as possible through the tracks .Feels like some fun part from those rails is missing.
The style is definitely similar to Habbo, if maybe it derrived from it )))
Not my favotite style but i realy like the game engine.
Good work!

Awesome game!

Very catchy and adictive game!!
Have that old school feel to it, where one hit = 1 kill and youre out!

at first it was confusing in terms of controls, where there was no instructions menu, but after trying and losing somitimes it became easy.

Level is very funny and interesting and movements are quick.

The random level generation sounds like a good idea!
And it's not hard to make one. Basically making level segments and then make them listed in aray list. The randomizer just access the array and pick the random level segments one after the other.

just an advice :)

graphics, style, music and sounds vere great!

huhuhaha~

yey level 35!! HEHEH, SO WILD AND UNIQUE!
aWESOME GAME MAN!

Only wish it would be different level graphics and music.. but the whole 'recorded moves concept is awesome!

Hope it evolves into something more!
awesome!

Having a great interest in Game making in Flash!
